The Animal League of Birmingham raises money year-round with various events. These fundraisers, along with your generous donations, make it possible for ALOB to grant thousands of dollars to rescues and shelters. We are looking for ways to continue to support animals in need in these challenging times, so welcome to our photo contest!

Proceeds from Sit. Stay. Home, ALOB's Quarantine Cutie Contest, will be used to support community projects during this time of need and assist local rescues and underserved shelters. Please help ALOB support animals in need by participating in this FUNdraiser!


We know you're coming up with new and innovative ways to annoy your pets, including dressing them in silly, clever and comical ways. Show us your pics of your creative costumes.


Working from home comes with a new set of issues involving your helpful, or maybe not so helpful, pet assisting you with your daily tasks. Let's see those pics of your pet making your work from home days special.


Our pets are attempting to adjust to our extra time at home, as are we. That might mean more trips to the treat jar, communing with nature, or being bored silly despite all those extra walkies and "me time" you're sharing. Share those pics of your pet coping with quarantine.


Just like us, our pets are having to postpone their hair and nail appointments and some of you might be trying to bridge that gap with home beauty treatments. Or some pets might just be getting more photo ops highlighting their adorable bed heads or feathers. We want pics of your pet overcoming challenging times.


The Animal League of Birmingham is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization raising funds for non-profit rescues and shelters in Birmingham and the surrounding area who support the health, welfare and general well-being of animals in need. Additionally, our spay and neuter assistance program helps reduce shelter and rescue intake numbers.
