Rules for the CO-HRS Photo Contest
Contest begins January 15th, 2015 at 8 AM (MDT) and ends March 15th, 2015 at 10 PM (MDT).
Entries
- There is no charge to submit a photo.
- Photo submissions must be of one or more rabbits with or without other animals, but no people. The photo does not have to be of a rescued rabbit.
- To enter the contest, submit a photo of your rabbit(s), provide their name(s), your name and email address, and a short paragraph (250 words or less) that tells voters something fun or interesting about the rabbit(s) in the photo.
- Photos should be horizontal and may contain more than one companion animal; at least one animal in the photo must be a rabbit.
- Photos must be digital, in color, clear, with high resolution.
- CO-HRS reserves the right to disqualify at any time any photo it determines to be unsuitable.
- Registration information shared by participants when creating an account to submit a photo entry will be kept strictly confidential by the Colorado House Rabbit Society and GoGoPhotos.
- All entries and photographs become the property of Colorado House Rabbit Society (CO-HRS) to be used at their discretion for any and all purposes without compensation. By submitting a photo entry, you warrant and represent that your entry is your own original work created by you and that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to your entry materials.
Voting
- Voting is open to everyone. Each dollar purchases one vote. A minimum donation of $5 is required.
- Votes purchased by a donor are placed in the donor’s “vote bank.”
- Donors then take the votes in their vote banks and use them to vote on one photo entry, or spread them across their favorite photos.
- Contest votes are tax deductible. The email acknowledgment to your online donation serves as your tax receipt.
- Contest donations are processed by a secure (SSL, PCI-Compliant) payment processor. You can donate using all major credit cards and Visa and MasterCard debit cards.
Soliciting Votes
- Anyone can email links to their family and friends to encourage voting for a photo.
- On your photo’s public page, there is a share button that allows you to share your entry through Facebook and other social networking sites. Ask all of your friends and family to vote for your favorite photo.
- The selection process will be determined by electronic tabulations under the supervision of Gogo Photo Contest, whose decisions are final and binding.
- The Judges’ Choice winner will be determined by the CO-HRS Board of Directors, whose decision is final and binding.
By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless CO-HRS and the contest Sponsors and each of their respective officers, directors, representatives, volunteers and agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claims of any nature arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.The Contest is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
