Your entry and donations will help us continue to support the breed we hold so dear: the Dachshund. You will be able to count yourself among an amazingly caring network of people across the country and around the world who have supported our work to save almost 8,250 Dachshunds since 1984, not turning any away due to age, injury or illness.
This contest is open to anyone. Your photo entry does not have to be of a DRBC rescue doxie or even a dachshund. We love all dachshunds, dachshund mixes & dachshund wanna be's and welcome entries from all owners. Multiple entries are encouraged. We encourage you to share your entry and encourage others to vote, vote, vote!

Quantum Leap Winery has joined forces with DRBC for the 2nd annual My Best Friend wine label contest. Proceeds from the photo contest and the sale of the wine benefit DRBC foster dogs in need.
How to enter: - Select 'Enter Contest' below.
- Submit the most adorable photo of your pet that you can find (or take one!)
- Tell us why you rescued your pet or how they rescued you!
- Finalists stories and photos will carry equal weight during judging
| How to win: - Email your pets page to friends and family asking them to vote and explain that their votes help homeless pets ($1 donation per vote)
- Share your pets page on social media asking your followers to vote
- Remember, starting February 11th you have 6 weeks to get as many votes as possible!

Challenge Your Friends!
Add to the fun by setting a personal fundraising goal! Tell your friends and as voting begins watch your personal goal make a difference. We call it a 'throwdown' here at DRBC and it is fun to watch as family, friends, co-workers and DRBC followers work to help your hit your goal and climb in the rankings. Set up is easy, just activate the 'Fundraising Goal' option in your entry.
Wine Label Awards
The top 5 Vote-Getting Girls and Boys will be featured in the 2019 DRBC Wine Collection! One lucky pup will be chosen by the judges for the final slot.
Prizes
Grand Prize (1):
The image with the most donations, not only will be published on one of our wine bottles, they'll also have the privilege of choosing the type of wine to represent their photo (Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Carmenere, Chardonnay, Merlot, or Malbec). The Grand Prize winner will also receive a bottle of wine featuring their photo.
Runners Up (4):
The next four (4) images with the most donations, will have their design published on the type of wine chosen at DRBC's discretion. These winners will also receive a bottle of wine featuring their photo.
Judges Choice
One (1) winning photo will be chosen by DRBC from any submission with a minimum of 20 votes. This winner will also receive a bottle of wine featuring their photo.
Top Fundraisers (unlimited)
All participants who receive $500 in votes or more will also receive two [2] free tee shirts and two [2] car coasters valued at $50.
