Your entry and donations will help us continue to support the breed we hold so dear: the Dachshund. You will be able to count yourself among an amazingly caring network of people across the country and around the world who have supported our work to save almost 8,500 Dachshunds since 1984, not turning any away due to age, injury or illness.

This contest is open to anyone. Your photo entry does not have to be of a DRBC rescue doxie or even a dachshund. We love all dachshunds, dachshund mixes & dachshund wanna be's and welcome entries from all owners. Multiple entries are encouraged. We encourage you to share your entry and encourage others to vote, vote, vote!

How to enter: Select 'Enter Contest' below. Submit the most adorable photo of your pet that you can find (or take one!) Tell us why you rescued your pet or how they rescued you! Finalists stories may win you a special Judges Award this year!

How to win: Email your pets page to friends and family asking them to vote and explain that their votes help homeless pets ($1 donation per vote) Share your pets page on social media asking your followers to vote Remember, starting September 2nd you have 10 weeks to get as many votes as possible!

Add to the fun by setting a personal fundraising goal! Tell your friends and as voting begins watch your personal goal make a difference. We call it a 'throwdown' here at DRBC and it is fun to watch as family, friends, co-workers and DRBC followers work to help your hit your goal and climb in the rankings. Want a guaranteed spot in the calendar? Reserve a day to honor your doxie. Your dog's photo will appear on the day of your choice. Just choose your favorite photo and then choose the day and donate! First come first served and remember, only photos of animals will be considered for publication. Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available. Each day is $20.

The top 13 Calendar Girls and Boys will be featured in the 2020 DRBC Calendar! The DRBC Calendar will be available for sale in Early December 2019 on a Pre-Order basis. Sales for this fantastic item will continue year round in the Doxie Boutique.

The image with the most donations, not only will be published in our 2020 Calendar, but they will select the month of their choosing. The Grand Prize winner will also receive a free calendar and weekly planner!  Wow!  Get those votes out!


Up to two (2) winning photos will be chosen by DRBC from any submission with a minimum of 20 votes. These will be based on the stories submitted with the picture, so, touch our hearts!!  These winners will also receive a special day on the calendar.
