Contest Rules

Enter your favorite photo of your doxie or doxies to win one of 13 coveted spots in the 2016 DRBC Cutie Pie Calendar.

This contest is open to anyone. Your photo entry does not have to be of a DRBC rescue. We love all dachshunds and welcome entries from all dachshund owners.

We encourage you to share your entry and encourage others to vote, vote, vote!


You must submit a photo of your dog(s) and include:

• Cutie's Name
• Your Name
• Your Email
• Your City and State
• A paragraph that tells voters something fun or interesting about the dog in the photo. Is this a DRBC dog? If so, how long has he or she been a part of your family? Can you share something special that we could include on our calendar if your photo wins?

All photos must be uploaded. Sorry, we cannot accept hard copies.

Multiple entries are encouraged and honorary doxies are welcome too. Dogs do not have to be rescue to enter.

Photos must be high resolution (to work for the video) or they will be returned and donations refunded.

All submitted photos will be shared out on the DRBC page on Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram Pages!

All entries must be the original work of the entrant. You must own the copyright to the photograph.


Each entry is a $10 tax deductible donation to DRBC.

Enrollment begins August 1, 2015 at 12:01AM EST and ends September 13^th, 2015 at 12 Midnight EST! No entries will be accepted beyond this time

Voting begins September 14^th, 2015 at 12:01AM EST and ends November 4^th, 2015 at 12 Midnight! Live voting coverage for the close of the contest will be carried live by DRBC radio beginning at 9pm EST!!

When commenced, each vote is $1, with a $5 minimum donation (to keep our accountant from taking the ledge). There is no limit to the number of votes one may cast, but you must cast a minimum of 5 votes at a time for a minimum charge of $5. You may vote for your own photo and you may spread your votes across multiple dogs. The top 13 vote getters will appear in our 2016 calendar!


Prizes will be awarded based on voting totals. Calendar placement will be made as described below.

Due to the limitations of our computer tabulating system, there can be up to a 15-minute delay between when a donation is received/recorded and when it is reflected in the leaderboard. All gifts received before 12:00PM EST will be honored. The leaderboard results are official.


The top 13 Calendar Girls and Boys will be featured in the 2016 DRBC Calendar! The DRBC Calendar will be available for sale in December 2015. As always, the DRBC Calendar Cover will honor those entrants that have crossed Rainbow Bridge.


DRBC reserves the right to modify or clarify any of the contest rules during the term of the contest without advance notice.
