Estes Chamber Foundation Coolest Dog Contest

Back by popular demand - the Estes Chamber Foundation and The Pet Association of Estes Park will kick-off the 4th annual Coolest Dog Contest on April 1st to find the coolest floofy pups in town to grace the labels of Avant Garde beer and Snowy Peaks wine. The contest runs thru April 30th. Proceeds will benefit the Estes Chamber Foundation and Pet Association of Estes Park. The Chamber Foundation will focus their donations on local education needs for 2024 in partnership with the Estes Park School District. The Pet Association will receive 10% of net proceeds to fuel their ongoing mission to serve the needs of the four-legged friends in our community.

Here's how it works: Beginning on April 1st, enter your pooch in Coolest Dog Contest by completing the entry form online at www.gogophotocontest.com/epcoolestdog and making a $10 donation. Once registered, share your personal web-link with friends and family to vote. Each vote is a $1 donation.

The first place pup with the highest number of votes in each category gets their adorable fuzzy face featured on the front of a special-edition label from our craft beverage community:

Pawsh Wine sponsored by Snowy Peaks Winery will feature the small dog category
Barky Mountain Majesty sponsored by Avant Garde Aleworks will feature the four-legged royalty of the bunch

The 2nd and 3rd place dogs in each category will also be recognized on the back label of the can or bottle.

To help "get out the vote," you can bring your dog to yappy hours at Avant Garde Aleworks on April 11th and 30th from 5p-6p. At each yappy hour, we'll also be registering pups and meeting the contenders.

Prizes

The 1^st place Coolest Dog in each category will receive:

3 four packs from Avant Garde or 2 wine bottles from Snowy Peaks with first, second, and third place dogs on the label
Social media recognition

Second and third place winners will each received:

Rules

Only photos of dogs will be permitted.
One pet per entry. If you wish to enter multiple pets, please submit them each separately.
For best results, photos should be high-resolution (300 dpi or greater).
Photos must only contain dogs (no people or other animals).
Photos must be full-color - no heavily filtered, edited, or altered photos.
Photos deemed offensive, indecent, or obscene will be removed from the contest.
All online photo entries and votes must be submitted by 11:59:00 PM (Mountain Time) on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.
All photos submitted become the property of the Estes Chamber Foundation and can be used in marketing or promotional materials in perpetuity.
Photo submission must include:

Name of dog
Owner's name
Owner's email address
Owner's phone number
City and state
A few sentences that tell voters why they should vote for your dog.

There is a $10 entrance fee. This contest is a fundraiser to benefit the Estes Chamber Foundation. The Chamber Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Each vote requires a donation of $1. All donations for votes are tax-deductible.
The top three dogs with the most votes in each category will be announced as the winners!
Winners will be announced on social media and contacted personally by the Chamber staff.

ELIGIBILITY

The contest is open to any dog owner who is at least eighteen (18) years of age. The contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited or restricted by law or regulations.

Voting is required to participate and win this fundraising contest.
Voting requires a $1 donation per vote.
Entrants may vote for their own entries as many times as they wish.

SELECTION OF THE FINAL WINNER

The 6 winners of the contest will be notified by e-mail in early May. Odds of winning depend on the number of votes each entrant receives.

WARRANTIES

When you enter the "Estes Chamber Coolest Dog" contest, you warrant that you are at least eighteen (18) years old as of the date of entry, the photograph is original, that you are the sole owner and copyright holder of that photograph, and that you have not granted exclusive rights of that photograph to any other person or entity. You also warrant that the photograph does not invade the right of privacy of any individual; does not infringe any trademark, trade name, trade secret, intellectual property right, or other common law or statutory right; nor does it contain any material that otherwise violates any criminal prohibition or the personal or proprietary rights of any person or entity.

GRANT OF RIGHTS IN CONNECTION WITH THE CONTEST

With regard to any image or content submitted, you agree to grant the Estes Chamber Foundation, its legal representatives, successors, and assigns, the nonexclusive right and permission to use, modify, adapt, reproduce, publish, and distribute the photograph, or any portion thereof, throughout the world, in any printed form and by any kind of mechanical or electronic or any other method or device of reproduction, publication, and distribution known or later developed, during the full term of the copyright, and without notification or payment.

USE OF PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION

Personally identifiable information provided by entrants and voters will be added to the Foundation's email list. Entrants and voters will be able to "opt out" of future such communications by following the instructions on any electronic communication we send. The Foundation does not sell, rent, trade or share its email addresses with any third parties for such party's own marketing purposes.
