Rules

• Entries are limited to one photo per entry fee and may be submitted online or in person at the Georgian Triangle Humane Society. You may submit as many entries as you like.
• Once entered, all photos become the property of the Georgian Triangle Humane Society to be used for print and marketing purposes.
• Any photo or caption deemed inappropriate as determined by the staff of the Georgian Triangle Humane Society will be removed from the photo contest. 
  

• All entries must be in colour.
• Horizontal (landscape) orientation preferred as it is required for pet of the month placement.
• If your entry was taken by a commercial studio, please include a signed copyright release from the photographer with your entry. 
  
  

• Each dollar donated to a pet’s photo represents one vote.
• All donations over $20 are tax-deductible.
• All donations to the photo contest are final.
• An email or home address is required to make an online donation so a receipt with tax information can be sent to the donor.

In the memo line of your check, please indicate whose campaign you are voting for (ex. "Vote for Ava Patterson”)

• To vote in person, please visit the Georgian Triangle Humane Society any day of the week from 12pm to 4pm.
  
  

• The top 73 entries in the contest ranked by highest number of votes by 11:59 PM EST on September 18^th 2016 will be included in the GTHS 2017 Pet Calendar.
• Online entries and votes must be submitted by 11:59 PM EST on September 18^th 2016.
  
  

• Contest winners will need to re-submit their photo to Georgian Triangle Humane Society as a high resolution, print quality image. Winners will be notified where to send photos. 
• Prize announcements will be revealed on the contest homepage within one week of the contest end-date.
