Rules

Mile High Weimaraner Rescue is holding our first ever calendar photo contest for our upcoming 2016 calendar. MHWR is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We encourage you to submit your favorite photos and ask your family and friends to vote and support our rescue!

• Submit your photo(s) with a minimum $5.00 donation per picture.
• You may enter as many times as you like. Photos will be accepted on the MHWR contest website from July 1^st, 2016, at 8:00 AM through July 25^th, 2016, at 11:59:59 PM for public viewing.
• Votes will be accepted on the MHWR contest website from July 1^st, 2016, at 8:00 AM through July 31^st, 2016, at 11:59:59 PM. Votes are $1 each. Top voted photos will win prizes as outlined below.
• Entrant must own full rights to photo and photos may not be copyrighted.
• Entrant retains rights to image but by submitting to MHWR Photo Contest, they are giving MHWR non-exclusive and irrevocable royalty free license to use the photo as we wish.

1. Review photo guidelines below.  All images are subject to review and acceptance by MHWR.
2. You may enter as many photos as you wish.
3. Complete the entry process and submit your photo in a JPEG, JPG, PNG or GIF format.
4. Spread the word everywhere!! Ask family and friends to get online and vote for your photo!
5. Winning entrants will be selected by the MHWR Committee in accordance with the tabulation results provided by GoGo Photo Contest. These winning entrants will be selected for our calendar and a complimentary calendar will be awarded to each member included in calendar.
6. All submitted photos and information become the property of MHWR to be used at their discretion for any and all marketing purposes.

1. Dog only images (no kids or people)!
2. Unedited or minimally edited photos in landscape or square format are preferred. 
3. Images must be high resolution, and taken with a camera of at least 4 megapixel quality.  For reference, Iphones have an 8 megapixel camera and Samsung Galaxy S5 phones have a 16 megapixel camera.
4. Minimum photo quality/size is 1500x1200 dpi.
5. No (professional) photos with logos will be allowed, unless express written permission releasing photo rights is granted from photographer and provided to MHWR via email at mhwr.appreciation@gmail.com.  All photos submitted become property of MHWR, to be used at our discretion with or without the logo.
6. Entrant must own full rights to photo and photos may not be copyrighted or logo'd.
7. Entrant retains rights to image but by submitting to MHWR Photo Contest, they are giving MHWR non-exclusive and irrevocable royalty free license to use the photo as we wish.

1. Each $1 donation counts as 1 vote. You can place all votes on one entry or place them on multiple entries. When you donate to vote, you will have the option to "bank" votes to be applied on one or multiple entries as you wish.
2. We encourage all members supporting our calendar photo contest to share the website with family and friends via social media or email.
3. All donations are non-refundable. Entries and donations must be made via the online contest page.
4. Contest payments online are through a secure site.
