Tell Your Pet's Rescue Story Here:
Tinkerbell is my greatest love. Every ounce of her is pure joy. It is amazing to think that this sweet pup was seized as a part of a neglect and abuse case by Animal Control. She spent her early life in a cat crate filled with straw, her ears frostbitten and her stomach swollen from infection and cysts as a result of being bred too many times.
The first day I picked her up from transport, I knew she was going to be mine. She had on a ragged collar and her papers didnt know if she was " Tinker" or "Bella," so I just called her Tinkerbell to save confusion. She was so sweet and gentle when she got into my car, but I could tell there was spunkiness there too. A little pat on my lap and she made herself at home, where she has continued to sit with mom every day since. She is the first to bed and last to rise, has been known to steal an unguarded porkchop or two, and she loves looking out the window for her adopted baby bunnies.
Animals are amazing in their ability to overcome adversity and still find room in their hearts to love us unconditionally. This beautiful girl is one reason I support adoption and rescue.
I am what we call a proud "foster failure" for ARR, but really perhaps I am the luckiest person for having found my best girl Tinks!
