Kali with a "K" because calico cats are my kryptonite! She was a street kitty at 6 months old and was caught during a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) project. I enjoy taming feral kittens and while 6 months was beyond the recommended age I couldn't put this beautiful creature back on the streets. After working with her for a year...far longer than normal... I realized she would likely not get adopted because she was opposed to human interaction. She was, however, the most beautiful thing in my house and got along with all of the cats and dogs in my home so I adopted her. I'm still working on socializing her but since her claws are lethal I tell visitors that she's for decorative purposes only!
