Jake came to ARR as a very young sick kitten from a kill shelter in Georgia. After getting well, he was transferred to me to foster, along with 7 other kittens. He was the oldest of the kittens, a month older than the rest but very social and friendly. I was surprised when he and one other were the only ones left for adoption after a month so I took him to an adoption event at Unleashed by Petco where he was the "belle of the ball"! We put a harness and leash on him and let him meet all the visitors and be walked around the event. He wasn't even afraid of dogs or noise!! He had lots of interest but no applications. Fortunately, I got a fantastic application the next day and he went home where he now lives with his two Italian Greyhound sisters, who loved him instantly!!! We miss him a lot but this is what fostering is all about!
