Sitka was an ARR foster dog! I fostered her for two months before becoming a "foster failure" and adopting her. From day one she was the sweetest - she still had a few porcupine quills in her mouth and on her muzzle from when she was a stray, and was extremely patient as the vet tech and I got them out. She has won over the heart of everyone she met, including my mother's cats (she likes to lick the top of their heads). This picture here is from our first 14er together - she cruised up without a problem, waiting for me if she ever got too far ahead. Not a day goes by where I am not thankful for her and the work of ARR bringing us together!
