Shay adopted us while we were visiting the Larimer County Humane Society four years ago. She had been there for five days. She was leaning against the wall with her head hanging. She was broken. She was surrendered by someone who obviously had cared about her because she came with her own bio written by the previous owners. She originally came from Oregon and we are not sure why she had to be surrendered. Time was not on her side due to being a black dog. She turned out to be the Best Friend any of us could have asked for. Her absolute most favorite thing to do is play ball. She has full run of the house including any bed or couch she would like to sleep on. She will also sit with her lips pressed against yours for minutes on end. She makes us smile and laugh pretty much every day. We love our black dog!
