Gibbs
Tell Your Pet's Rescue Story Here:
Gibbs was adopted in March 2013 after we lost one of our dogs to cancer. He was scared of everyone and everything for months. It took a lot of TLC but he has turned into the most amazing dog ever. He has such a wonderful personality and just loves his brother from another mother, Yogi, who you see in the bed behind him. He loves to snuggle up to our Dalmatian, too. He is a fierce protector of our home and will rush to bark at people on the walking path that goes by our house and then returns triumphantly inside for praise. When we first got him, he was quite the excavator, digging up all my mother's flowers and bringing them to her as a gift. He is pretty low to the ground so he really appreciates it in the winter when I shovel a path to the yard for him so his dangly boy-bits don't touch the snow. He's a master of the dog door and a friend to all - we are so glad that ARR rescued him before he was euthanized and gave him a chance to rescue us as we mourned the loss of our dog, Peanut. He's a special boy!
