We adopted Aspen 7 years ago - she was my high school graduation gift from my now fiancé. She has been the best gift ever, she is "An All American Dog" She loves EVERYTHING as long as she is with her humans nothing bugs her. One year ago we adopted Diesel from Animal Rescue of the Rockies, his mama had a little bit of a rough life, but she had and still has an amazing foster so Diesel was lucky to start his off in such a wonderful foster home! He is protective one of our family but so smart and so funny! Lucy we adopted 9 months ago, we had taken her to our amazing vet clinic just for a regular visit and get her in our vet clinic's system and come to find out she was heartworm positive. Not knowing anything about Heartworms I was freaking out a little bit. After all the treatment and no activity, come’s July 4th when I got a call from our vet and both her in-house and lab tests came back Heartworm Negative! As tough as times were just adopting a dog and immediately having to be on rest, I wouldn't want things any other way. This is a picture of the three of them running free near the Platte River! We couldn't be more blessed with our four legged family!
