TricksyNoodle and I met shortly after I was approved to be a foster parent for ARR. The first few days together she was the quietest, most observant little set of eyes that followed everything going on around her. At the office, she'd hide under chairs, desks, and generally just stay back. Who could've guessed that quiet little thing would turn into the most curious and engaging little pup I've ever known? This adorable little PuppyFace has turned into one of the most wonderful (part mountain goat) brave fur balls I've ever met. She conquers her fears, except for the vacuum cleaner, as they arise, makes friends with almost anything and anyone she comes across; even the squirrels chat with her from the backyard trees in the morning. She makes herself smaller to play with smaller dogs and tries to be bigger for the big dogs. She cuddles, gives kisses and hugs, and just adores following people around trying to help with what they're doing. It was pretty obvious to everyone around me that giving her up wasn't going to happen.

My understanding is that she was in a New Mexico shelter on their soon to be euthanized list before the wonderful people of ARR got her out and up to Denver. I can't imagine how many fantastic little souls are taken from us due to overcrowded shelters. I don't really want to imagine; I'd rather see that energy and those thoughts go toward helping groups like ARR save those amazing little furry loves and get them into homes.
