Hi! I'm Dot and this is my favorite squeaky donkey... I love toys, toys, toys! And snuggles and walks. About 5 years ago, I was found somewhere on the Eastern Plains farmland in the dead of winter. I was only about 8mos old. Someone brought me to the Limon Humane Society and then Second Chance Rescue picked me up. I got to live inside with a family of 5. I learned a bit about potty training and...toys! Three weeks later I was adopted by someone who lost her dog recently to an awful autoimmune disease. She was so sad. We knew I couldn't and didn't replace that precious pet, but I brought laughter and play and joy of my own back into the sad, empty place left in that house and in my Mom's heart! Don't wait too long after losing fur-family to share what you have to give with another rescue! Who rescued who? :)
