North Texas Basset Hound Rescue (NTBHR) is holding our second annual VIRTUAL contest to crown our Basset Love Child of the Basset Hound Shuffle and Games. The theme of this year's Shuffle and Games is "Peace, Love, Bassets." We encourage you to submit your favorite photo and ask your family and friends to vote and support our rescue!
NTBHR is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, all-volunteer organization providing medical care, transportation, foster care, and adoptions to Basset Hounds in need. During the last fiscal year, NTBHR rescued and re-homed 93 Basset Hounds. All animals are given medical care including, but not limited to: spay/neuter, heartworm treatment, dental care, and micro-chipping. Our goals for the current year are to increase our volunteer base and our foster care program, allowing us to rescue more Basset Hounds, and to boost our fundraising to cover our rising veterinary costs.

This contest is open to all Basset Hounds, not just those located in North Texas.Prizes
The Basset Hound with the most photograph votes will be crowned the "Basset Love Child" of the NTBHR Basset Hound Shuffle and Games and receive a $100 gift certificate to Petco.
If the winner is present at the Shuffle (9:00 am – 1:00 pm on October 22, 2016 at the Leon Hogg Amphitheater located at 1951 Bear Creek Pkwy, Euless, TX 76039), he or she will be announced and congratulated at the event. If the winner is not present at the Shuffle, the prize will be mailed to the owner.
