Trooper is a Black Angus bull. He was born very small. The farmer raising him recruited someone to bottlefeed him in hopes he could get big enough to enter the herd. Trooper was able to get strong and healthy but never reached “full” size. The farmer did not have a use for a small bull in his breeding operation and had decided to send him to auction. The woman that bottle fed Trooper had bonded with him and asked the farmer to bring him to our farm sanctuary to live out his life rather than sold to auction. Thankfully he agreed! Trooper may be small in terms of cows, but he is playful, stubborn, handsome and has a BIG personality!
