Zha Zha was adopted from the HSSW on July 5, 2022. She came all the way from Kentucky. She almost ended up in a high kill shelter as a family took her in but it didn't work out. So the first lady's sister that had her brought her to Wisconsin to re-home her where she ended up in foster care in Whitewater through the HSSW. Zha Zha was pregnant when she was found in Kentucky. She had 5 puppies and one died after a week. Zha Zha is a Basenji breed and is a barkless dog. She is fast and agile so we had to build our fence taller as she is a fence jumper. She loves anything with peanut butter in it. Zha Zha is four years old, loves the outdoors, going on long walks, and is a laid back lovable dog.
