Rules

• Photos of cats and dogs are accepted. Your pet DOES NOT have to be adopted from the Prince Albert SPCA to be eligible to enter this contest. The registration fee is $25 for one photo. than one pet is permitted in each photo. High resolution photos are required for best results when printed. Photos must be at least 300dpi and at least 1 MB in size – 3650 pixels x 2740 pixels is preferred for printing purposes. Please no filtered/Photoshopped or altered images. Participants may only submit images to which they have the rights to reproduce. Entries must be received by 11:59pm CST on October 30, 2017.
• Event coordinator reserves the right to request a different photo if the above criteria are not met.
• Each registration fee includes one copy of the 2018 calendar.
• In-person entries will be accepted at the shelter until 5:00pm CST on October 30^th, 2017 and votes will be accepted at the shelter until 5:00pm CST on November 14^th, 2017 at 1125 North Industrial Drive.
• If you mail your photo rather than submit it online, please note that we will be unable to return your photo to you.

• Each vote costs $1, and there is no limit to the number of votes one may cast. You may vote for your own photo. Online voting begins as soon as the photo is registered and ends at 8:00pm CST on November 15^th, 2017.
• In addition to our online system, voting can be done by mail or at the shelter. Offline votes (mail and in-person) must be received by 5:00pm CST on November 14^th, 2017. Voters must identify the pet and owner's name to make sure a vote is credited to the correct photo. Make cheques payable to the Prince Albert SPCA.

• We cannot accept Polaroids, photos with digital overlays, photo stickers or doodles, or any copyrighted photos.
• Contest participants are responsible for ensuring that they have the right to submit the photos being entered in the contest. By submitting to the contest, you affirm that you are the photographer, or have been given unrestricted use permission by the photographer, to include the photo.
• Photos must be high resolution (3650 pixels x 2740 pixels is preferred for printing purposes)
• Once entered, the photos become property of the Prince Albert SPCA to be used for print and marketing purposes.
• Online entries must be submitted before 11:59pm CST on October 30, 2017.
• Mail in or in person entries must be received by 5:00pm CST on October 30, 2017 at 1125 North Industrial Drive.

• Online votes for photo entries must be submitted by November 15^th, 2017 at 8:00pm CST.*
• Mail in or in person votes must be received by 5:00pm CST on November 14^th, 2017 at 1125 North Industrial Drive.

• Reserve a day to honor your pet. Your pet's photo will appear on the day of your choice. Just choose your favorite photo and then choose the day and pay!
• First come, first served. Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available.
• Each day is $20.

*The ending time for the online voting portion will be solely determined by the host website's server. Keep in mind that your clock may differ from the clock that determines the ending time.
