There are two things Ohioans love - dogs and craft beer! We are searching for the coolest dog in the Cap City to be the face of a new beer. Your dog may have what is takes! RESCUEDohio and Seventh Son Brewing have joined forces to celebrate pets and the people who love them! Three winning pets will have their images appear on a special release beer this spring. Submit your pet’s picture between December 7th to January 6th and then get everyone you can think of to vote - your friends, family, neighbors, random strangers, and great lost uncles! Each vote requires a $1 donation that will be put to good use rescuing homeless and abandoned pets in Ohio and surrounding areas.
The three pets with the most votes will each receive a prize and appear on individual labels of the special release beer. Each winning dog will also receive a professional photoshoot with Holly Hildreth Photography. The fourth place dog will be RESCUEDohio's profile picture for the month of February.
The March date for the release party at Seventh Son Brewing will be announced in early 2026.
Prizes
The three dogs with the highest number of votes will each be featured on a special release beer can from Seventh Son Brewing! This will be a great gift for family and friends, as well as beer loving neighbors and co-workers. The winners will be invited to a special event in March 2026 where they will be celebrated and the special can will be released!
Also, your dog will have a mini-photo session with a professional photographer for the label. That means you don't have to worry about the quality of the photo you submit – snap away with your phone!
The dog with the fourth highest number of votes will be featured as RESCUEDohio's Facebook profile picture for the month of February.
Rules
- There will be three overall winners
- The three dogs with the most votes will have their image on individual labels of a Seventh Son Brewing beer can
- The winning dogs must be available for a photoshoot in Pataskala, OH for select dates in January 2026 (day/time will be at photographer's discretion). Winners must be willing to travel if they do not live in Columbus. If they are unable to make it, the next winner will be selected.
RESCUEDohio was founded on August 1, 2015 by a group of dedicated animal lovers in the central Ohio area. The founders came from various different vocational backgrounds, but all have one thing in common: the passion to save dogs.
RESCUEDohio serves dogs in need by assisting partner shelters and providing comprehensive care until a compatible home is found. Our efforts are fueled entirely by volunteers. We share a passion to transform lives through educating our community and providing second chances for every dog who enters our foster-based program.
To date, RESCUEDohio has placed over 3,500 dogs and puppies in their forever homes.
