Your Pet's Story or Bio
Pixie was rescued from the Seattle Sheltie rescue. She was about a year and a half old when we got her. Not spayed or vaccinated. She is now 7 years old.
She and couple of other dogs had been given to a family on Camano Island from the Olympia Craig’s list.
The Sheltie rescue told us about her so we went to see what kind of Sheltie she was.
She was very timid and was intimidated by the other bigger dogs so did not fit in with her Camano family. First thing she did was jump up on my friends chest probably saying get me out of this place. She was very thin because she couldn’t get enough to eat with the other dogs taking all the food. So we brought her home and I was only going to foster her until the rescue folks could find another place for her. Well needless to say after a week taking care of her I decided that she needed a home and we gave her one. She has been the nicest dog over the years and we are so glad that she is part of our family now.
