Please tell voters about the rescued dog in the photo that was adopted. Is this a SSLR dog? If so, how long has he or she been a part of your family? What’s the story behind the photo?
In 2015 an angel of a lady found a pregnant dog, starving and with no home to go to. She took the dog in and took care of her for the rest of her life. That dog gave birth to six beautiful puppies who all found homes through Southern Skies I brought Thor (left) home in August 2015 and for a year he and my other dog, Loki (deceased), played nearly non-stop. Since Loki was an older girl I started looking to get another puppy to play with Thor. We checked out a couple of adoptable dogs with no luck. Then I was contacted by Southern Skies and told Thor’s littermate, Sadie (right), needed to be rehomed. So I brought her home. Thor and Sadie behave as if they were never separated. It was fate, serendipity, whatever you believe in; those two were meant to spend their lives together.
