Southern Skies Labrador Rescue & Adoption, Inc. (SSLR) is a foster-based 501c3 non-profit dedicated to the rescue and adoption of Labradors, Labrador mixes and other working dog breeds that have been abandoned at kill shelters, owner surrenders and strays. We strive to communicate for the voiceless by working closely with local and national animal rescues and other groups for the benefit of animal welfare and to promote changes in our local Alabama laws. We dedicate ourselves to educate and communicate the importance of spaying and neutering your pets to our local and neighboring communities. We focus on Labrador dogs in need especially those that are left behind because of their color, age or mix.
