Please tell voters about the rescued dog in the photo that was adopted. Is this a SSLR dog? If so, how long has he or she been a part of your family? What’s the story behind the photo?
Detail is the dog in the Gilligan shirt with the Embroidered initial D, she is the mother to this group: Storm, Blaze, Stella and Hooper. They have a family reunion at the lake every fourth of July and then celebrate their July 9th birthday together .
Detail was one when my husband brought her into the family as a hunting dog, we had just lost a dog and we had an elderly rescue, so I was reluctant. But I fell in love with her loving, calm disposition and her energy for retrieving. Detail loves a job, she's a great duck dog but in her off season became a Pet Partner Therapy dog. Her pregnancy was well planned , we waited until our sons were out of college and could provide for a pet. All of Details pups stayed in the family or joined families of very good friends.
