Rules

Submit your pet’s photo and include your name the way you would like it to appear on our calendar, your pet’s name the way you would like it to appear on our calendar, and your email address. Please include a short paragraph describing your pet. Be sure to let us know if you adopted your pet from a shelter or rescue, especially if you adopted from SPCA of Brazoria County!
Photos must be of PETS ONLY. Any image with a human in it will be disqualified.
You may submit as many photos as you like.
Please submit DIGITAL PHOTOS ONLY. Photos must be clear, of good quality and high resolution in order to be used on our calendar.
By submitting your photo, you grant the SPCA of Brazoria County the right to use your photo in our calendar, on social media, on our website, and in other marketing publications.
$25 Entry Fee. Each contest entry fee will reserve a day to honor your Calendar Pet! Your pet’s photo will appear on the day of your choice. First come first served. Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available.
$1 per vote, minimum $5 donation (5 votes). When you donate to vote, you will receive a “bank” of votes that then may be applied to the entries you wish to vote for. You can place all votes on one entry or place some on one pho to, some on another, etc.
All donations are non-refundable.
Once you submit a photo to the contest, you can email links to your family and friends to encourage voting for you photo. On your pet’s public page, there is a “share” button that allows you to share your entry through social media. Ask all of your friends and family to vote for your favorite photo and Share! Share! Share! The more you share, the greater your chances of winning one of our prizes! Each time you share, remind your friends and family that their donations save lives. All donations support the life-saving work of the SPCA of Brazoria County.
SPCA of Brazoria County is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Donations are tax deductible. Our tax id is 23-7404451.
Our contest ends on August 15, 2017 at 9 pm. You will be notified of your winning entries via email. The top thirteen vote-winning pets will need to complete their portrait sessions during the first two weeks of September. If you are unable to complete your pet’s portrait session by September 15, a shelter pet will be substituted as the prize-winner for your month.
