SSRR is spotlighting rescued Rottweilers with a 2015 “Rott of the Month” wall calendar. The calendar will feature a different Rottie each month and on the front cover, for a total of 13 photos. Grand Prize winner will grace the cover and 2nd & 3rd place winners will have the opportunity to select the month they’d like to be “Rott of the Month”. The remaining winners, 4th thru 13th place, will appear as the Rott of the Month at SSRR’s discretion. Full prize descriptions can be found under the Contest Rules tab.Our goal is to present rescued Rottweilers that have been given a second chance at life. We want the world to see how happy these pups are in their loving home environment. No people in the photos please! Entries should be sharp, clear images with a high resolution (300 dpi or above or 1024x768 pixels) in a .jpeg or .tiff format. We’re asking for the name(s), adoption or rescue date(s) and a short statement, 60 characters or less including spaces, describing the picture or something special you’d like to share about your Rottie! Submissions are open to all companion Rottweilers, rescued preferred but we love them all. There is a $5 entry fee per photo and they can be submitted from Aug. 10, 2014 at 12 am (CST) thru Sept 11, 2014 at 9:00 pm (CST). All proceeds will go toward the medical needs of our foster dogs, current and future! Calendars will be ready for sale no later than early November. When available, instructions on how to purchase will be posted on our Facebook page.
