Rules

Photos of cats and dogs are accepted. Online submissions only. Your pet does NOT have to be adopted from The Cattery or be a patient of our spay/neuter clinic to be eligible to enter this contest. The registration fee is $15 for one photo. More than one pet is permitted in each photo. High resolution photos should be of the pet(s) only—no humans, please. Photos must be at least 300dpi and at least 1MB in size. 3650 pixels x 2740 pixels is preferred for printing purposes. Please no filtered/Photoshopped or altered images. Participants may only submit photos to which they have the rights to reproduce. Copyright or professional photos are not allowed. Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. CT on November 6th, 2015.

Event Coordinator reserves the right to request a different photo if the above criteria are not met.

Each registration fee includes one copy of the 2016 Calendar.

Each vote costs $1, and there is no limit to the number of votes one may cast. You must cast a minimum of 5 votes at a time for a minimum charge of $5. You may vote for your own photo. Online voting begins as soon as the photo is registered and ends at 11:59 p.m. CT on November 6th, 2015.

In addition to our online system, voting can be done by mail or at the shelter. Offline votes (mail and in-person) must be received by 4:00pm, on November 6th, 2015. Voters must identify the pet and owner’s name to make sure a vote is credited to the correct photo. Make checks payable to The Cattery. Mail to The Cattery, PO Box 8575, Corpus Christi, TX 78468, or in person at our shelter located at 8201 Weber, Corpus Christi, TX 78415.

Prizes will be awarded based on fundraising total. Winners will be notified by email on or about November 7th, 2015.

Grand Prize: Winning pet will be on the cover of our 2016 calendar and the month of January. Grand prize winner also receives $100 gift certificate to Petsmart!

First Prize: Four first prize winners will receive full-page monthly placement within the calendar and a $25 gift certificate to Petsmart!

Second Prize: Ten second prize winners will receive half-page monthly placement within the calendar and a $10 gift certificate to Petsmart!

All Entries: All non-winning entries will earn a spot on collage pages in the calendar!

Random Prizes: Event Coordinator reserves the right to give out random prizes for personal staff favorites!

• People are not allowed in your photo, only pets.
• All photos of cats must depict them in an indoor setting.
• We cannot accept photos with digital overlays, photo stickers or doodles, or any copyrighted or professional photos.
• Contest participants are responsible for ensuring that they have the right to submit the photos being entered in the contest. By submitting to the contest, you affirm that you are the photographer, or have been given unrestricted use permission by the photographer, to include the photo.
• Photos must be high resolution (3650 pixels x 2740 pixels is preferred for printing purposes).
• Once entered, photos become the property of The Cattery, Inc to be used for print and marketing purposes.
• Online entries must be submitted before 11:59 p.m. CT on November 6, 2015.

• Online votes for photo entries must be submitted before November 6, at 11:59 p.m. CT*.
• Mail-in or in-person votes must be received by 4:00 p.m. CT on November 6, 2015, at the Shelter at 8201 Weber, Corpus Christi, TX 78415.
