I rescued Partner 2/01/2014. Partner was running scared with 4 puppies when she was caught by animal control. After Wags and whiskers saved her and her puppies from euthanasia, Jorden did a great job getting Partner ready for her forever home. Partner was depressed and would not engage in any playful activities for a month after I adopted her. She laid on my couch for 30 days recovering from the trauma she experienced. I would make eye contact with her, hold her and talk to her in English and in her native language, howling like a wolf. She would whisper back in a soft voice with tender kisses. Today Partner and I are a pack. We communicate and we are soulmates. She is dog friendly and loves to hike. You can find her at the local dog park on many days. Partner's favorite place to hike is Lake Tahoe. Partner travels everywhere with me. She is welcomed everywhere we go because she is well behaved and very beautiful. After I certified Partner to be a service dog, Partner is a therapy dog in my office. She greets my patients at the door and brings comfort to all in need of a puppy kiss. Partner for sure rescued me. I had no idea a dog could bring not just me but everyone she meets so much love. I'm deeply grateful to Wags and Whiskers for this magical soul, a dog I call Partner.
