Rules

• Name of pet(s)
• Your Name
• Your City and State
• A paragraph that tells voters how your life is better shared… Can you include something special that we could include on our calendar if your photo wins?

• Photos must be of companion animals only— no people. All animals must be depicted in a humane and dignified manner. Pinch or choke collars will not be considered, nor will photos of visibly distressed animals.
• You may have more than one pet in the picture.
• Your animal need not be a shelter animal to qualify.
• Digital photos are required. Photos must be clear, of good quality and high resolution — 300 dpi or higher in PNG or JPG format — and no greater than 5MB.
• Once a photo is submitted, it will appear in the online gallery on our website, and be open to voting by the general public. Voting requires a minimum donation of $5 ($1/vote).
• We reserve the right to decline publication of any photograph for any reason. Should this happen, we will notify you and refund your entry fee if desired.
• We cannot accept copyrighted professional photographs or computer generated images.
• All photos become the property of Wags and Whiskers Rescue and may be used as needed at our discretion.
• Winning calendar images must be high enough resolution to meet the requirements of the calendar.

• The calendar is a 12-month calendar [January 2017- December 2017]
• The coveted cover photo will be voted on by our Board of Directors.
• Of the top 13 vote recipients, one will be voted upon as our cover winner, the remaining 12 will be highlighted as pet of the month.
• WAWR reserves the right to select which month each pet is featured.
• All photo entries are guaranteed inclusion in the calendar.
• Wags and Whiskers Rescue reserves the right to make all final decisions with regard to pet of the month and cover photo selections.
