After being found on the streets of Bakersfield, Tufa (formerly Annie) has proven herself to be an amazing adventure dog! So far, her trips have included canyoneering in Death Valley, kayaking in Pt. Reyes, and (here) on a 5 day mostly off-trail backpacking trip in Ansel Adams wilderness. There is no question that out time out in nature (and in the house!) is far more snuggly, fun, and funny when we go out with Tufa! Also, please note that the rainbow in this picture was a totally unphotoshopped sun flair! But it's only accurate that Tufa would be walking on rainbows :).
