Meet Jake (aka BG). Here he is "striking a pose" on our recent walk in Bodega Bay. Jake absolutely loves walks, strolls, lay downs and everything else that has to do with watching things, exploring new smells and experiencing new or revisiting familiar adventures. This is remarkable because only a year ago, when we first met and brought Jake home, we couldn't get him into a car or even into the garage for months. Now he is with us wherever we go. He especially loves laying on the bed in our motorhome while we are on the road.
Everyone who sees him remarks on how gorgeous he is. He doesn't let that go to his head, as he is still shy of new folks, but he is a very gentle soul and will sit patiently by while I talk to people about him. He also enjoys meeting other dogs, big or small. He is not much of a player, but he enjoys watching other dogs wrestle and run after balls.
We are so thankful for his company and the many ways he has enriched our life.
