Your Pet's Story
Ruger was a blessing. Shortly after the passing on 12/19/18 of my beloved "Bubby" (Presa Canario breed) , I received a call from my son who was visiting his in-laws for the Christmas Holiday. He told me that his brother-in-law was about to take Ruger to the local Humane Society for adoption. Ruger's brother had just broken his leash, ran into the road & was killed. My son asked me if I wanted to take him to ease the pain of losing Bubby. I flatly said, "No- no more dogs. Too painful when they cross The Rainbow Bridge." Then he forwarded a picture of Ruger and upon receiving it, I called him back immediately and said, "Yes- I will absolutely take him."
We love him beyond measure; he's the best, smartest, most intuitive dog ever and are forever grateful to my son, daughter-in-law & family for thinking of us to give him the best home, love and companionship he could ever want!
