Your Pet's Story
A local resident was breeding several different types of dogs out of their home, which was against the code of ordinances for that particular city. The resident had to quickly find homes for her current puppies, in which Hemi was the runt of three chihuahua puppies. He joined me (his owner) for college in Jacksonville while I attended University of North Florida. From there, we moved several times for different opportunities in different cities as my career evolved. We now reside in Ormond Beach. Hemi loves to snuggle under blankets, run on the beach, lay out in the sun and play fetch. He is a lover of all people and rarely, if ever, barks. We’ve been told he is the best chihuahua anyone has ever met! He was recently diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure and is on medication to maintain this new illness. He will turn 10 years old in April 2022.
