Grand Prizes:
The winners of the photo contest will be determined by the top 13 entrants that get the most votes.
The top winner with the most votes of all entries will win the coveted cover photo for the 2025 calendar!
2nd - 13th place winners will have their dog featured as a pet of the month in our 2025 R&R Rescue & Resort Calendar. The top 13 vote getters will have their dog professionally photographed by Candra Schank Photography for the 2025 calendar.
The calendar photoshoots will occur on 2 Saturdays during April - June 2024, in Candra's Owen Sound Studio and each pet will have a 10 minute session. If you would like a full 60 min studio session or an outside session you can upgrade for $95. Candra will pick the best photo for the calendar. All winners will have the opportunity to purchase prints, wallart, albums and digital file packages following their session.
*If your pet is one of the 13 to be photographed for the calendar, you must be able to bring them to Candra Schank Photography’s studio at a pre-selected date in Owen Sound from April - June 2024 for a professional studio photo session. If you are unable to commit to a photo session during those times or find yourself unable to travel to this pre-selected location, you forfeit your winning and the next top vote getter will take your pet's spot in the calendar, no exceptions.
Weekly Mini-Contest Prizes:
One pet each week who receives the highest number of new votes for a particular week will win a mini-contest prize. In the event of a tie for that week's most votes or if there are no new votes for that week, a random computerized drawing will be held for all eligible pets.
