Welcome to WECU’s 2025 Pet Pageant benefitting United Way of Whatcom County
Every pet deserves their chance to shine. Submit your favorite photo of your furry, feathered, or fishy friend for a chance to win one of the great prizes!
Amphibians, dogs, cats, horses, hamsters, birds, mice, rats, and reptiles welcome.
Photo submissions are $20. Votes are $1.
There are no limits on the number of photo entries per pet.
(Please note that WECU may use any of the submitted photos on their social media sites.)
All proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit United Way of Whatcom County, helping individuals and families in our community access the tools and resources they need to achieve financial stability.
Prizes
The 1st place pet photo will win their choice of one of the following prizes:
- $100 Mud Bay Gift Card
- $100 CHS Northwest Farm & Home Gift Card
- CHS Northwest Farm & Home – Pet and Farm Store with a wide variety of pet supplies, birding equipment and feed, farm feed, and lawn and garden supplies as well as toys and gifts for the whole family.
- $100 West & Willow Gift card
- West & Willow - Modern Pet Portraits, custom pet apparel, custom pet mugs, and more!
The 2nd place pet photo will win their choice of one of the remaining prizes.
The 3rd place pet photo will win the remaining prize.
Rules
- 1 vote = $1
- 1 photo entry = $20
- Unlimited photo entries per pet
- Entries must be pets only (no people please)
- Must be a WECU employee to submit a photo entry
- WECU employees, friends, and family can vote
- Enter your pet photos beginning at 6:00:00 AM (Pacific Time) on Monday, May 12, 2025 through 11:59:59 PM (Pacific Time) on Friday, May 23, 2025.
- Voting will start at 6:00:00 AM (Pacific Time) on Monday, May 12, 2025 and ends at 3:00:00 PM (Pacific Time) on Wednesday, May 28, 2025.
- Vote as many times and for as many pets as you like!
- PLEASE NOTE: WECU may use any of the submitted photos on their social media sites
