Mija is a chihuahua and JRT or dachshund mix (we think) and was rescued from Mexico. When found two years ago she was infested with ticks and was malnourished. Today, she is healthy and happy, and loves doggie toys and blankets. She also loves to sunbathe, so her middle name is "del Sol." Her full name in English means "little girl of the sun," which is very fitting - she certainly has brightened our family's lives!
