A little about me...
Maia is a rescued English Setter from OESR (Our English Setter Rescue) in August of 2019. She was rescued by my mom and I am entering her pic for the calendar. I purchase an English Setter rescue calendar for her EVERY year as a gift. My dad and mom researched rescuing a setter after their previous setter passed. My dad was not well (one lung/COPD) and wanted my mom to have a furever friend to walk with and to have if/when something happened to him. They chose Maia, she was rescued in 8/2019, my dad passed away in 3/2020. He met and LOVED Maia, but didn't have much time with her -- how he would have LOVED to see Maia and my mom in their life together. He would be smiling ear to ear and laughing at her sweet energy and craziness. Maia is living her best life with my mom on a lake, fishing, swimming, hiking, etc. They are BEST friends. They are FUREVER YOUNG together.
