A little about me...
Ruger was found on Craigslist as a free dog and a kind person took him in so he would be safe, then eventually contacted Above & Beyond. I had just been approved as a foster, and he was only about 4 hours from me, so I agreed to foster him. Underweight and heartworm positive, we spent the next 5 months together constantly, as he went through heartworm treatment. He was a trooper, and it was a great day when he was finally allowed to run.
Almost two years later, he is living his best life. He runs in the pastures, sniffing out prey, keeps his backyard clear of birds and cats, and loves riding on the golf cart with me. He’s still my constant companion!❤️
