Welcome to the Above & Beyond English Setter Calendar Star Search!!!

We all love our Setters and each one is a Star in our own eyes. Here is your chance to go viral, enter your best photos, and share your setter's story! Send the links to all your family, friends, co-workers, and well everyone! Build your Star's fan club! The fans will vote for their favorite Stars! The 12 favorite Stars will receive a larger picture in our 2026 calendar and the top Fan Favorite will win the coveted Calendar Cover spot! But this is much more than a fun Calendar Contest. It's an opportunity to promote the rescue and raise some much needed funds for our dogs. These are the real lifetime dramas of setters in need who depend on our help to have a chance at a real life in a forever home! Many dogs come to us abused and neglected with significant medical needs. Each vote will help raise funds to get the medical help they need. This is the real Star Power!

Submitting your Star Search entry is free!

Once your entry is confirmed, send the "share" links to all the "fans" you know. Votes cost $1.00 each and a minimal purchase of 5 votes ($5.00) is required. Above & Beyond English Setter Rescue is a 501( c) 3 non-profit organization. Your purchase of votes is actually a tax deduction and the printable receipt is your proof of donation. Purchased votes can be cast all on a single Star or split among your favorites! And you can vote as often as you want! The tally of votes are viewable real-time and everyone can track their Star's progress. Enter early and vote frequently for the best chances of winning. And use those share buttons to share your Star's link to all your fans on FB, email, twitter, etc…

NOTE: Only VOTES (donations) completed on the GoGo site are valid for voting. If you complete any donation process elsewhere – it does not count towards votes. In the past, some donations were made through FB thinking they were purchasing votes in error.

Prizes

First Place Winning Photo

The Setter receiving the most votes will be awarded the coveted Above & Beyond English Setter Rescue 2026 Calendar "Cover" spot! Your setter's story will be shared on the back cover along with one or two other photos.

2nd – 13th Place Winners

Our calendar design for individual months displays pictures in a collage style. Each of these 12 winners will appear as a larger photo among the photos pictured for that month. A&B reserves the right to select which photo appears in a specific month. The placement will be selected by appropriateness of the photo. A winter photo winner will display in a winter month, a summer photo in a summer month, etc.

Additional Prizes

All entries receiving at least 600 votes will receive a free A&B 2026 Calendar.
All entries receiving at least 1000 votes will receive the above plus an A & B Logo magnet.
All entries receiving at least 1500 votes will receive an additional free2026 calendar plus the above prizes.

2026 Above & Beyond Star Search Contest Rules

Contest begins at 12:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Sunday, June 1, 2025 and ends at 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Saturday, July 12, 2025.
No Entry Fees!!!! Submit your photos for FREE!!!
Photo entries must be of a rescued/adopted English Setter or English Setter mix. Your rescue does not have to be from Above and Beyond English Setter Rescue.
Please limit your entries to one picture per family. Participant's Registration information will remain confidential . Submit a photo of your dog(s). Include your dog's name(s), your name and address (address will not be displayed only city and State), and an introduction sharing why your entry should be the next A & B Calendar STAR! Please limit intro to 300 characters or less. Connect with the voting public - like the stars walking the red carpet at the Academy Awards!!! Your fans are waiting!!!!!!!!!!!
If your dog has been a previous first place winner and appeared on our calendar cover between 2021 – 2025, your dog will not be eligible to win the first place cover spot. Your dog can win one of the 12 larger photos inside the calendar.
Everyone is eligible to vote. There is no limit to the amount of votes you can cast or the number of dogs that you can vote for. Here's how it works. Each vote costs $1.00 in the form of a donation. The minimal donation amount is $5.00 (which allows you to cast 5 votes). Your donation is instantly converted into a vote bank. Then you can cast you votes on your favorite star or stars.
When you purchase your "votes" you are actually making a donation to the Above & Beyond English Setter Rescue Medical Fund. You, the voter, have the starring role in providing a happily ever after to a setter in medical need. Being a 501c3 non-profit organization, any votes purchased is actually a tax deductible donation. When you complete your transaction to purchase votes, you will receive a confirmation email. This will serve as your tax deductible receipt. Contest donations are processed by a secure (SSL, PCI-Compliant) payment processor. All major credit cards and Visa and MasterCard debit cards are accepted.
Please share the contest with your Star's voting public - all your family, friends, and fans!!! If you are entering a photo, you will have access to a share link which you can email. To really make your dog a Calendar Star, you need to promote, promote, promote! Share links are automatically created when you enter your photo so social media networking is a snap. Face Book, Twitter, Pinterest, etc. - there's no limit! The more you share the better you fair! Guess that makes you a "Puparazzi"!!!!
All submissions must be of good digital quality to retain detail when enlarged. Entry photo must be animal only – no people. Multiple pets can appear in the picture provided one of the pets is a rescued English setter or setter/mix. Optimal photo should be sized to fit on an 8.5" wide x 11" tall format.
If your submission is of poor quality, it will not be eligible for the grand prize Cover. It could still win one of the coveted supporting roles – as one of the larger photos appearing in our January – December pages.
Any photo submission which does not comply with the above rules will be disqualified by Above & Beyond English Setter Calendar coordinator.
All winners will be determined by electronic vote tabulations under the supervision of Gogo Photo Contest, whose decisions are final and binding.
NOTE: Entries who do not place in the top 13 will still have at their photo included in the 2017 Above & Beyond English Setter Calendar.
All entries and photographs become the property of Above & Beyond English Setter Rescue (A&B) for any and all purposes without compensation. By submitting a photo entry, you warrant and represent that your entry is your own original work created by you and that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to your entry materials. If you submit an entry that is copyrighted by another individual, you are responsible for any legal action the copyright holder takes against you.
By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless A&B and the contest Sponsors and each of their respective officers, directors, representatives, volunteers and agents (the Released Parties) from and against any claims of any nature arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.
The Contest is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
