A little about me...
Today We are offering two for one. I would like to introduce Hannah (bottom) and Lucy (top). Both are Above and Beyond adoptees this year.
I currently have a 12 tear old Male setter from Above and Beyond which I adopted many years ago. He is now deaf and blind, but with the help for his sisters he manages quite well.
Hannah come home to us last summer from Greece. Of course she is bi lingual. She was six months old. She became part of the house within hours. She is one of the most curious setters I have had. She would rather investigate than run...this can be unusual for a setter.
Now running moves me to Lucy. She joined us in the fall as a foster. She was very ill, and continued to slowly recover. As everyone expected, (except me) I adopted her. She is five now and and is way too busy to worry about the small stuff. Her usual day revolves around gophers, birds, and squirrels....with an official water and cookie break as needed. I must admit that Lucy and I have had to make joint compromises regarding some issues. She is one of those headstrong setters. She just doesn't know I won.
As always I thank Above and Beyond for finding forever homes for so many dogs and parents. As a frequently say, my favorite breed is rescued.
