Apollo's original owners gave him up because he was too much work. He gave me 7 years of joy before he died, seven years of his love for frisbee and looooong walks! Rain, snow or sunshine, he needed his 3-5 miles per day and frisbee or ball fetch. He kept me lean all those years with his endless energy and love.

All of the kids in the neighborhood called him "The frisbee dog" because he carried his soft frisbee with him when we walked - you just never know when a game of frisbee might spontaneously break out and he wanted to be prepared.

He was the first of two Border Collies I was lucky enough to take in after they were given up. I miss him still.
