King is a foster-fail pup who was rescued from ACCT in 2015. Immediately after being surrendered to ACCT and going into foster care, King underwent surgery to remove 6 bladder stones. Despite his difficult surgery, he showed his foster parents how much of an upbeat, loving, and incredibly sweet dog he was, that they couldn't resist making him their own. King quickly became EVERYONE'S favorite dog, guests would come just to see him & friends would argue over who got to dog sit him. This past year King developed a cancerous tumor that grew on his leg in just 2 short weeks. As sweet as King is, he is just as determined and strong! King underwent yet another invasive surgery and is now living cancer-free and is as healthy and happy as can be! Now a days King can be found on the 2018 Philadoptables calendar as the Mr.June model!
