A little about me...
Sophia was adopted at 9 month. We are her third, forever home. She's a wonderful pugekingese 11 yr/old girl. But we still call her puppy.
Up until 2020 she had vision. In 2019, during a wellness visit the Dr said, keep on the the ulcers in her eyes. She had 3 in 1 eye and 1 o. The other. Sure, enough in 2020 one eye got infected which lead to major eye surgery. A year later almost to the same day, the other went through the same issue. Since then she’s about 90% blind, developed high separation anxiety. We take great care of her and try to take her everywhere we go within reason. Unfortunately, travel is not an option due to blindness.
Nevertheless, she's been apart of our family for 11+ years and we love her dearly.
Thie picture was of Sophia was taken during the Total Solar Eclipse on April 8th. Even though she's mostly blind her eyes were protected too! 😎
