There is an electric joy in daybreak—a sudden spark that erupts from beneath a tangle of blankets and shines in the eyes of a puppy bursting awake.
My entry, “My Sunrise Spark,” captures the exuberance of that first morning moment: my puppy, Sieger, springing from slumber, cocooned in soft fabric, ready to greet the day with tail-wagging excitement.
In this image, the world is vibrant and alive.
