Pet's Story or Bio
Lily, a Great Pyrenees mix, was given up by her owner because she kept escaping from her yard and getting chicken dinners from her neighbor's flock. Apparently, that wasn't appreciated by the neighbor. To be fair, though, the fencing at Lily's house wasn't adequate for a dog like her. We took her in as a foster because we heard she was really playful and we wanted to see if she'd make a good buddy for Odin, a huge young male we had adopted a few months before and who badly needed a playmate. Well, it worked. We adopted her a few months after that. She's also a cuddle-bug, the sweetest Pyr we've had (and we've had many over the years). As you can see, she's made herself right at home.
