Short story about your dog
Daisy is the sweetest little dachshund you’ll ever meet. She’s missing both of her front legs — I was told one was lost to a birth defect and the other in a farming accident. One of her back legs is also missing a few toes, and her tongue has some previous trauma as well. But she doesn’t let anything slow her down. She gets around like a champ at home, loves being in her stroller when we go out, and absolutely loves playing with her toys. She’ll collect every toy in the house and make herself a huge pile of toys on the couch to lay with.

She spent her entire life living outside on an Amish farm, but finally joined her forever family last June. She’s the best little sister to my other two dachshunds, and she’s the happiest when we’re all cuddled up together. Daisy truly completed our little family and I couldn’t imagine life without her with us.

Her rescuers originally named her Albert’s Tiny Promise, because when Albert himself passed away (he was also a dachshund), Mandy and Darren promised him they would do big things in his name. And they sure did. Thank you to Albert and to everyone who helped rescue my sweet Daisy girl.
