Short story about your dog
At 12 years old, Abe was found abandoned in November 2023 near Wausau. He had one good eye, 3 teeth and little chance of survival. Luckily a police officer found him and brought him to the local humane society. When I saw his picture, I knew I had to meet him. It was love at first sight (for me, he wasn't so sure). 3 months after adopting him, he lost his 3 remaining teeth, developed bladder stones, and his eyes literally turned white over night. He was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease, and for his comfort, had a double enucleation. Luckily his bladder stones were broken down through his new prescription food, and he did not require a 3rd surgery! Abe is the sweetest, cuddliest little boy ever. He love everyone he meets, and I could not have asked for a better friend!
