Short story about your dog
Toby is such a blessing to me. He was found on the street in Tunica, Mississippi and taken to the Tunica Humane Society. After his medical needs were addressed, he came to Wisconsin on a transport through Albert's Dog Lounge. Lindsey, his awesome foster mom, and I have known one another for a long time. When I saw her post about Mr. Smitty (now Toby) I reached out to her expressing my interest in meeting him. She kindly brought him to my home and the rest is history! Toby is 11 years young, has limited eyesight and hearing, a heart murmur, no teeth, and issues with an arched back. In my eyes, he's perfect! He has rehab treatments every two weeks which have made a significant difference in his back issues. He loves other dogs, especially my golden doodle grand dog, Ember! He largely experiences his environment through his keen sense of smell. He loves to snuggle and has filled a huge hole in my heart since loosing my very special golden retriever, Sofie, in 2024. He's a wonderful companion who helps me everyday as an emotional support dog. Thank you Lindsey and Albert's Dog Lounge for helping us find each other! He is an amazing dog who I love very much.
